I’ve recently started using a new system for improving those returns and I go into further detail in my video.
One of my gripes about creating videos is that sometimes it feels hard justifying the effort that it takes to make them. All too often it feels like it's just for useless internet points and the occasional DM from someone asking if they can "pick your brain". 😂
In truth, creating videos is incredibly effective for me here but still, I'm always looking for the balance between spending time making a video and the likely return on my time investment. I've recently started using a new system for improving those returns and I go into further detail in my video. 💡 And just for reference, I decided to make this video two hours ago while sitting in my living room eating a bowl of ice cream for lunch. I got the idea, grabbed a camera, a light and a mic and recorded a version in my pj's. I decided that it was ridiculous and I went and did my hair, quickly typed a script, loaded it on my teleprompter and pressed record. I did about five takes before I felt like it was good enough. Spent about 20 minutes editing the video and another ten editing the captions on Subly. All in all, it was less than two hours from idea to execution. I say this because it's all about having a system. Drop me a DM if you're interested in setting up a system of your own.
